/ The Oil Cultural Center Hall in the capital, Baghdad, witnessed today, Saturday, the launch of the electoral conference of the Border Sports Club to choose a new administrative body to lead the club for the next four years, while Fouad Nasser Al-Rikabi was chosen as president.
The elections were held in accordance with Clubs Law No. 18 of 1986, in the presence of members of the club’s general assembly and the representative of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Khalil Yassin.
During the conference, the administrative and financial reports of the Administrative Body were read, and they were approved by the General Assembly after being voted on unanimously.
Then the voting process began to choose the members of the new administrative body, which resulted in the victory of Fouad Nasser Al-Rikabi, Safaa Abbas, Hazem Timouz, Ahmed Kazem, Ali Basem, Batoul Aziz, Imad Watan, Mohammed Jassim, and Wissam Al-Din Alaa.
Then a closed meeting was held for the winning administrative body, during which agreement was reached on the four positions and membership of the administration, where Fouad Nasser Al-Rikabi was named President, Safaa Abbas as Vice President, Hazem Taimouz as Secretary, Ahmed Kazem as Financial Secretary, and the rest of the winners as members of the new administrative body.
