/ The Iraqi Volleyball Federation, headed by Habib Ali Al-Lawandi, held its regular meeting today, Friday, at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in central Baghdad.
A statement by the union received by Agency stated that “the final accounts for the year 2023 were approved and audited by a legal auditor. The annual plan for the year 2024 was also presented and approved, in addition to approving the estimated budget for the same year.”
He added, “The restructuring of the committees (Ethics, Arbitration, Election, Appeal, Discipline) was also approved, in addition to the election of the head and members of the Women’s Committee.”
He pointed out that “the resignation of 4 members of the union’s executive office was accepted, namely (First Deputy Dr. Azad Hassan, Dr. Naima Zidane, and members Ahmed Abdul Karim and Bashar Ali).”
He pointed out that “the above names were included in one of the meeting’s paragraphs, after 3 members submitted a request to be relieved of their positions.”
