That the hotel was located on the outskirts of Marrakech, and that at the time of the earthquake they were in the gardens of the place, and not inside the hotel, makes Labaig consider herself “privileged” and that “thank God we can tell it.” Besides, appreciates the attention that the hotel staff has offered them: “We are well cared for, the hotel staff is behaving wonderfully well and they have relocated us to safer areas”. It also highlights that these same personnel agreed to work the morning after the earthquake “despite the fact that many will have experienced material and perhaps even personal losses.”
