Today, Sunday, the General Electricity Company announced the start of the implementation of the first solar power plant in Al-Saddadah area.
The company stated that the station will be connected later to the public electricity network with a capacity of 500 megawatts, and the implementation of the French company Total Energy.
The Electricity Company added that this plan comes within the context of joint cooperation between the General Electricity Company and the Renewable Energy Authority to implement the strategic plan to integrate electrical capacities produced from renewable energy sources into the public electricity network.
The company affirmed its endeavor to implement several strategic projects that support the public network and to benefit as much as possible from all available resources.
