The generation breaker’s early reference to the attack

by time news

A few days ago, Pusk Hador wrote a letter to the residents of Mount Nof to strengthen their Torah study on the eight-year anniversary of the massacre in the neighborhood. Today, Pusk Hador again asks to increase Torah study following the attack in which a 16-year-old resident of Mount Nof was murdered.

Today (Wednesday), in a special conversation after the ‘general lesson’ he gave to his students at his yeshiva hall in Beit Shemesh, the arbiter of the generation, Ha’ram Sternbuch, referred to the serious attack that happened this morning at the entrance to Jerusalem, in which a yeshiva boy from the Har Nof neighborhood in Jerusalem was killed, and nineteen people were injured.

In the center of his words, he said that the attack is a ‘call’ from God to the people of Israel to wake up and repent, and to multiply the study of the Torah in his power to cancel the attacks.

Later he also spoke strongly against the Likud’s demand for the expansion of state conversion and its accessibility, “they are irritating the Holy One, blessed be He, in His Holy Temple.”

He began his words with words of awakening: “This morning there was a very serious attack in Jerusalem, there is a dead person and several dangerous patients and everything is from heaven, and this is surely a ‘call’ from God to us to wake up, “we will search for our ways and investigate and return to God”.

“I remember that the Rabbi of Brisk, zt’l, always said that the front of the real war is between the leaders of the heavens above, and the situation here depends on the victory above over the leaders of the nations, and if we say psalms, we win the war above, and in any case salvation depends on it below.

In the center of his words, he asked his students to strengthen themselves in Torah study these days in order to protect themselves from terrorist attacks: “Now we are in a very difficult situation, and the only thing that can save us is strengthening in Torah study, and in the weekly parasha it is written, “The voice is the voice of Jacob and the hands are the hands of Esau,” and the Sages interpreted “At the time Jacob’s voice is in the synagogues, the hands are not Esau’s hands, and if there are no hands, Esau’s hands are not”, and yet now at a time like this we must strengthen Jacob’s voice – the synagogues and seminary houses, and we will reject the hands from Esau’s hands.

He then referred to the Likud’s demand for the expansion of state conversion and its accessibility, which in fact would comprehensively recognize invalid conversions without receiving Mitzvos: “The wicked are now working with real dedication, and even in the midst of all these troubles, we saw yesterday that they intend to carry out many fake conversions without receiving the yoke of mitzvah, and who knows what else Let it be, that they irritate God inside His holy temple, because the Holy Shekinah is here and they are fighting God in the midst of His strength, and we must protest against them and not give up the war against them.”

He sealed his words with a request from the members of his yeshiva: “Each one will calculate for himself what he can add and strengthen in the study of the Torah and thanks to this we will gain salvation.”

It should be noted that the spirits in the Har Nof neighborhood are turbulent today, after, as I recall, just a few days ago the arbiter of the generation wrote a special letter to the residents of the Har Nof neighborhood in which he deviated from his habit and asked the residents of the neighborhood in a rare way to add to the Torah study on the eight-year anniversary of the attack in Har Nof “so that there will be an additional guard for the whole neighborhood”. And now after the serious attack in which one of the residents of the Har Nof neighborhood was killed, the judge of the generation returns and warns a second time that there is a need to strengthen the study of the Torah in order to save from serious terrorist attacks.

The early warning issued by Posak Hador a few days before the attack became the talk of the day in the Har Nof neighborhood, where many of the residents see it as a ‘visible example’ of early warning about the need for the residents of the neighborhood to be vigilant.
