The arrest was made after the Petah Tikva police opened an investigation about a week ago, upon receiving a complaint from the parents of a three-year-old toddler, regarding suspicion of harming her in kindergarten, after the girl refused to enter the kindergarten in the mornings.

The police collected testimonies from the parents and seized means of documentation which, after a professional examination, revealed difficult findings, which raise the suspicion of the existence of offenses of harming the helpless towards several children at different times.

In accordance with the needs of the investigation, the police intend to bring the suspect tomorrow – a 66-year-old Petah Tikva resident for a court hearing, with a request to extend her detention.

“This is a complex investigation that is in its infancy and is conducted with intensity and top priority, in accordance with the policy of the Central District Commander in such investigations, in which harm to the helpless is suspected, until the execution of the sentence,” the police statement said.
