At the end of September, the CAC 40 posted a drop of more than 20% compared to January. It ended the year with a decline of 8.5%. It thus limits the damage compared to other major indices. The German Dax, its closest rival, lost almost 12%. The EuroStoxx 50, the index of the 50 largest European companies, is losing around 11%. His fall was largely cushioned by the French champions.
