In his previous positions, Shavit served as the CEO of the Solad and Tamar power plants of the private electricity producer Adeltec. At the beginning of his career, Shavit served as the center for the water and energy field in the Budget Division of the Ministry of Finance and then as the Vice President of Economics and Finance at the Israel Railways.
