At its meeting on Tuesday, the government approved the state budget for 2024 and the state budget strategy for the next four years, ERR writes.
The priorities of the state budget for the next year are the security and stability of the Estonian state.
State budget revenues for 2024 will amount to 16.79 billion euros, and expenses will amount to 17.67 billion euros.
The budget will focus on Estonia’s military and national defense in a broad sense; on education, economic recovery, including green reform, and the sustainability of public finances.
Ukraine’s support continues to be of great importance for the Estonian state.
