The Government Council adopts two draft decrees relating to the nursing corps
Rabat – The Government Council, meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of the head of government Aziz Akhannouch, adopted two draft decrees relating to the nursing corps, presented by the Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Ghita Mezzour.
This is draft decree No. 2.24.676 amending decree No. 2.06.620, promulgated on 24 Rebia I 1428 (April 13, 2007), relating to the special status of nurses in the Ministry of Health and decree No. 2.24.677 amending decree No. 2.17.535, promulgated on 7 Moharrem 1439 (September 28, 2017), relating to the special status of the interministerial body of nurses and health technicians, said the Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing following the council.
The approval of these decrees, he noted, is part of the implementation of measures aimed at improving income in the public sector, in accordance with the social agreement of April 29, 2024, which stipulates the increase in the salaries of nurses in the Ministry of Health and the interministerial body of nurses and health technicians, by a net monthly amount, set at 1,000 DH.
The payment of this increase is divided into two equal installments, he specified, noting that the first installment of 500 net monthly dirhams will be paid from July 1, 2024, while the second installment will be paid from July 1, 2025.
