Neither the Mayor’s Office of ⁣Guayaquil nor⁤ the Presidency of Barcelona have issued statements regarding the case. The Mayor’s Office reported that their legal team ‍is preparing⁣ a response. The Agency ⁢indicated that the spokesperson for the case is the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

This case further widens the gap between the Presidency of the Republic and the Buenos Aires City Council,⁤ as differences between President Daniel Noboa and Mayor Alvarez ‍have been previously⁣ reported.
