The Prosecutor’s Office of the Novosibirsk Region, together with the regional department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, conducted an audit of the implementation of the law when concluding concession agreements by the regional government in 2020-2021.
The basis for the audit was the order of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, as well as the appeal of State Duma deputy Denis Maidanov.
The audit took place in January-February 2022. Its subject was the implementation by the government of the Novosibirsk Region of antimonopoly legislation and legislation on concession agreements. During the inspection, no violations of the law were revealed, the press service of the regional government noted.
Several infrastructure projects are being implemented in the Novosibirsk Region with the help of public-private partnership mechanisms. Among them are the construction of schools, clinics and the fourth automobile bridge across the Ob in Novosibirsk.
