The government must announce, Monday, July 17, the replacement of the term “manslaughter” committed on the road by that of “road homicide” when the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, according to an information of BFM-TV.
This measure, which is part of a panel of others, must be announced by the Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, on the occasion of an interministerial committee devoted to road safety (CISR), which will be held in Matignon. “The ambition of this CISR is to bring protective measures, balanced and adapted to the daily lives of millions of French people who share the roads of our country”specifies Matignon.
