Chief Minister Stalin has condemned West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Tankar for arbitrarily adjourning the assembly.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Tankar has announced the adjournment of the Assembly session using Section 174 of the Act.

He explained that the decision was taken at the request of the ruling government, as the issue had caused a great deal of controversy in the next few minutes.

Commenting on the governor’s decision in this context, Chief Minister Stalin commented on Twitter that he had acted arbitrarily against the law from a higher position.

The governor should be a role model for the state to put the law first.

He also demanded that the beauty of democracy is that the governor and the state government give mutual respect.
