Technology runs at breakneck speeds. Its expansion has allowed us, today, to be able to stay connected and informed simply by ‘clicking’ on a screen. However, the enormous dependence we have on it also makes us increasingly vulnerable to the growing dangers that the Internet hides. Recent experience shows that no system is completely safe from these cyberattacks, which, according to most studies, are increasing year after year. Especially since the Covid-19 it forced us all to lock ourselves up at home to telework, tremendously increasing the exhibition area of the companies. To avoid unpleasantness, we must be aware of the importance of companies, institutions and ordinary users taking all the measures at their disposal to try to limit the risk represented by cybercrime to a minimum.

More in these times, in which the war that ravages Ukraine also pound in Internet.

Aware of the importance of the moment, the group vocento and CIONET, the great community of digital leaders from Spain and Latin America, have joined forces to create the forum ‘Cybersecurity: the great challenge’: a space for analyzing and identifying opportunities in a sector with high added value and oriented towards internationalization, such as cybersecurity. The event can be followed live by ‘streaming’ this Wednesday April 6 at 10:00 a.m. through this link.

Among other topics, the speakers will address how we can deal with threats and what the latest trends in cybersecurity are.

The second of the blocks, called ‘Competitiveness and cybersecurity‘, will bring together Enrique Ávila, director of the Civil Guard Analysis and Prospective Center and director of the National Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity; Raquel Hernández, Regional Director for Spain and Portugal at Zscaler and Esther Mateo, General Director of Security, Processes and Corporate Systems at ADIF.
