The late actor Puneet Rajkumar was conferred the honorary degree of Doctor at the 102nd Graduation Ceremony of the University of Mysore.
Puneeth Rajkumar has emerged as the superstar of the Kannada world. Puneet Rajkumar has gone beyond being an actor and his humanity and helpful nature have left an indelible mark on the minds of the people. He died of a heart attack on October 29, 2021, after a heart attack while exercising at home.
Kannada world superstar dies:
His death at the age of 46 shocked not only the Kannada film industry but the entire country. Subsequently, his body was laid to rest near the tombs of his father and actor Rajkumar and mother Parvathammal at the Kandirava Studio in Bangalore.
‘James’ Movie Success:
Puneet Rajkumar’s last film ‘James’ was released on the 17th in 4000 theaters internationally. Puneet’s fans have been celebrating the release of Puneet’s last film. ‘James’, which was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, has grossed over Rs 100 crore in just four days.
Doctorate for the late actor Punith:
In this regard, the Honorary Actor Punith was conferred the degree of Doctor today at the 102nd Graduation Ceremony of the University of Mysore. His wife, Aswini, received the honorary doctorate of sainthood with pride and resilience.
Earlier, in 1976, the University of Mysore conferred an honorary doctorate on the late Kannada superstar Rajkumar, the father of Puneet Rajkumar.
