The incident in which the father of the bride, who was angered by the groom who was late for the wedding after drinking alcohol with friends, got his daughter married to someone else caused a stir in Maharashtra.
A wedding was to be held at 4 pm yesterday in Buldana district of Maharashtra. Both housemates were busy with wedding work. At exactly 3.30 pm the lady of the house decorated the bride and brought her to the stage.
Later, to call the priest to fetch the bridegroom, all the relatives went around the hall in search of the bridegroom, but the bridegroom was not found.
Her cell phone was also switched off, and when she called the groom’s friend, it was revealed that the groom was drinking with his friends and singing excitedly.
The girl’s father was outraged when the matter came to light. However, she has told him to tell the groom to come soon without revealing it. It was five o’clock, six o’clock, but the bridegroom was not alone.
Later, at 8 o’clock, he came to the groom’s hall surrounded by his friends. The girl’s father, who had been quiet until then, stopped him as the groom climbed on stage.
Then, he called his cousin’s son and asked if he wanted to marry his daughter. He also agreed, and immediately married his daughter to him on the same platform. All this was done before the eyes of the bridegroom and his household. But, they were stunned that they could not say anything because there was something wrong with the groom.
The girl’s father said, “Occasionally there is nothing wrong with drinking alcohol. But if a person drinks too late for his wedding, it means he is addicted to alcohol.
