Achieving this objective requires the opening of new horizons of reforms and the launch of major projects in tune with the expectations and needs of current and future generations, they estimated in the final declaration of this Forum, organized at the House of Advisors. , under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

In addition to its close link with sustainable development, participants agreed that decent work constitutes a main determinant for improving the productive and economic performance of the company, contributing to the establishment of good professional relations, and promoting the development of the qualifications and capabilities of human resources.

The participants welcomed the recent social measures adopted in Morocco, supported by ambitious legislation and laws, believing that such measures are likely to promote the implementation of social and employment policies in harmony with international charters on decent work.

In this sense, they emphasized the essential role of parliaments in supporting various national and international efforts in the areas of combating poverty, and promoting full employment, dignified work, and gender equality, as well as the achievement of social well-being and social justice for all.

They also highlighted the joint responsibility of parliaments and governments in strengthening national legal systems in terms of labor legislation and in consolidating decent work standards in the service of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The participants also welcomed the sustained commitment of the House of Advisors in the organization, on a periodic and regular basis, of the International Parliamentary Forum on Social Justice, in commemoration of the World Day of Social Justice which corresponds to February 20 of each year, as decreed by the United Nations General Assembly at its 63rd session, on November 26, 2007.
