In the hall “St. George” in the building of the Municipality of Ruse, an information event organized by the local administration was held today, at which the guidelines for applying under Priority 1 “Integrated urban development” of the Program “Development of the Regions” 2021-2027 were presented, announced by the press center of Ruse municipality.
According to the procedure, the Municipality of Ruse, in its capacity as a territorial body, is responsible for the selection of project ideas.
During the event, explanations were given about the possibilities and stages for applying with project ideas, the eligible candidates and activities, as well as the deadlines for evaluation and prioritization of project ideas. All interested parties on the territory of the municipality can participate in the process of submitting project ideas:
– State bodies;
– Regional administrations;
– Municipal authorities of all urban and rural municipalities in accordance with the territorial scope of the permissible activities;
– Representatives of civil society (non-governmental organizations, organizations of employers and trade unions, foundations);
– Representatives of business (enterprises);
– Scientific and academic community, incl. schools and higher education institutions;
– Associations of owners of condominiums;
– Medical facilities, state or municipal property, only in partnership with the Ministry of Health (in the case of state property) or the municipality (in the case of municipal property);
– Cultural institutes.
The eligible activities under the program are: Infrastructure measures to promote economic activity; Energy efficiency; Sustainable mobility, incl. urban mobility; Road infrastructure, functional connections and road safety; Green urban infrastructure and security in public spaces; Educational infrastructure; Health infrastructure; Social infrastructure; Residential accommodation; Culture, sport and tourism.
The integrated project ideas with which the Municipality of Ruse plans to apply for the program in order to receive funding were also presented.
The resource allocated to the Municipality of Ruse under Priority 1 “Integrated urban development” is BGN 51.2 million, and the deadline for submitting project ideas is May 9.
The event was attended by representatives of various groups of local stakeholders and potential candidates on the territory of the municipality.
