In Adygea, the construction of a highway continues, bypassing the capital of the republic, the city of Maikop, which will unload the Khakurate street from transit transport.
“The project will benefit both the residents of Maikop and our guests – after all, the shortest route from other regions of the North Caucasus to the Black Sea coast passes through the city. In addition, the construction of the road will expand the transport capabilities of the region, increase the investment attractiveness of Maikop, and improve the ecology of the republican capital,” – noted the head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
He said that the construction of the bypass road is going in three stages. Within the framework of the first stage, introduced in 2009 (past the Gaverdovsky farm to the highway on Tuapse), about nine kilometers have been laid.
In 2019, the construction of the second stage began, and the work will be completed this year. The length of the second stage (from the entrance to Maykop from the city of Belorechensk to the highway to the village of Giaginskaya) with three bridge structures is 10.4 kilometers. At the third stage, the project provides for the construction of a 7.5-kilometer road section with access to the Proletarsky farm / Mafekhabl aul. This stage will be completed in 2022.
“Our goal is to create a logical and safe transport system in the republic. Therefore, we are gradually implementing new projects, increasing the number of new road facilities, repairing roads within the framework of the national project“ Safe and High-Quality Roads, ”the head of the republic stressed.
