The head of Lithuanian basketball believes that the Russians will not appear in the Olympic selection: the absolute majority of federations are against it

The FIBA ​​General Secretary mentioned that there is a possibility that the Russian and Belarusian basketball teams will participate in the selection for the 2024 FIFA World Cup. in the Paris Olympic selection. Although the final decision will be made in April, and until then the sanctions applied by FIBA ​​are still in effect, but the general secretary of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF) Mindaugas Balčiūnas believes that the decision on changes will not be made, and in the worst case, the participants of the FIBA ​​conference would speak out against it.
