The President of the Republic, Head of State, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, HE. Mohamed Bazoum chaired yesterday morning at the Palace of the Presidency, the meeting of the National Security Council (CNS).
In addition to the Prime Minister and other members of the government concerned by this question, the National Security Council (CNS) brings together around the Head of State Senior Officials of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). As a constitutional body, the National Security Council advises the President of the Republic on issues relating to security, the defense of the Nation, foreign policy and all other issues related to the vital and strategic interests of the country.
