The head of the HRC Valery Fadeev does not support amnesty for buyers of fake vaccination certificates. He announced this in an interview with Izvestia.
“Still, this is a scam both on the part of those who sold certificates and those who bought certificates. <...> Deception in an epidemic situation should not be amnestied, ”he said.
Sellers and buyers of fake certificates face criminal liability. Holders of such documents are prosecuted under Article 327 of the Criminal Code (forgery, production or circulation of forged documents, state awards, stamps, seals or letterheads). For the purchase and storage of a fictitious certificate, they face up to one year in prison.
A SuperJob poll in September showed that 32% of Russians do not blame those who bought a fake coronavirus vaccination certificate, while 41% of respondents do.
