Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Alexander Bastrykin instructed to report on how the investigation of the fatal accident with the Gazelle in New Moscow, in which a child died, is being conducted. The department reported this on Saturday, November 20.
Investigators established that on the evening of November 20 in New Moscow, the driver of a Gazelle car hit an elderly woman and a woman with two children – a young boy and a child in a stroller. One of the children died on the spot. Two women and a second child were hospitalized.
Bastrykin’s order was given to Andrey Strizhov, head of the Main Investigation Department for the capital. Earlier, the department opened a criminal case on the basis of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road by a person driving a car, resulting in the death of a person by negligence).
Also on this day, a major accident involving three cars occurred on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. Volvo, Mercedes and BMW collided. The latter was driven by blogger Magomedsaid Zaynudinov, also known as Said Gubdensky. He and his passenger, President of the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of Dagestan Zaur Ibragimov, were killed.
