The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky demanded the removal of his deputy Alexander Gogilashvili in connection with the scandal in the zone of the military operation in Donbass. He wrote about this on his Facebook.

“For the period of disciplinary proceedings, I will propose to the government to remove Gogilashvili from his post, in connection with which I signed a corresponding submission to the Cabinet of Ministers. I will personally study all the details of what happened and take appropriate management decisions, “Monastyrsky wrote.

Monastyrsky said that he had initiated a check in connection with the incident.

Earlier, a video appeared in the Ukrainian media in which a man similar to Gogilashvili at one of the checkpoints on the contact line of the parties to the conflict in Donbass quarreled with law enforcement officers who demanded to provide documents for verification. In particular, UNIAN reported this.

“I have been deputy minister for three years. And it’s sad that you don’t know. Now you know, but now I know you too, friend, and you won’t be pleased, ”says the man in the video.
