The appointed teachers are very angry with this. According to the new rules, now the appointed teachers will work under BPSC teachers. This decision of the Education Department has created a stir among thousands of appointed teachers working in government schools in the state. The appointed teachers have been demanding equal pay for equal work and permanent job for a long time. But, this new decision of the government has dashed their demands.

Only BPSC teachers will become principals!

Director of Education Department Secondary Baidyanath Yadav has issued new guidelines for the appointment of Principal in-charge in secondary and plus two schools. According to the new rules, if a school has assistant teachers with old pay scale, local body teachers and BPSC teachers, then the assistant teacher with old pay scale will be the Principal in-charge. If a school has only local body teachers, then the most senior teacher will be made the Principal in-charge. If a school has only BPSC teachers, then only they will be made the Principal in-charge. If a school has both BPSC teachers and local body teachers, then only BPSC teacher will be given priority.

Teachers warned of agitation

Here, the contractual teachers have opposed this decision of the government. They say that this decision is unjust to them. They have been agitating for their demands for a long time. But, the government is not paying attention to their demands. The contractual teachers have warned that if the government does not withdraw its decision, they will intensify the agitation.

New guideline regarding headmaster

• If in any secondary or higher secondary school, along with the assistant teacher of secondary class of old pay scale, teachers of local body and teachers appointed by BPSC are posted, then in that school the assistant teacher of old pay scale will be declared the in-charge headmaster.
• If assistant teachers of the old pay scale of classes one to eight are posted in a school, and along with them teachers appointed by the local body or BPSC are also posted, then the assistant teacher of the old pay scale of classes one to eight will be given the financial charge.
• If only local body teachers are posted in a school, then the senior local body teacher will be declared the acting Head Master.
• If in any school only teachers appointed by BPSC are posted then in such situation only the school teacher appointed by BPSC will be declared as the acting Principal.
• If a school teacher appointed by BPSC and a local body teacher are posted in a school, then in such a situation, the school teacher appointed by BPSC will be declared the acting Headmaster.
