Through its publication in the Official Gazette local, the Government of Mexico City declared Cultural Heritage the former newspaper headquarters building “The Son of the Ahuizote“, in the Historic Center, today converted into a Point of Innovation, Freedom, Art, Education and Knowledge (PILLARS).

The declaration of the House of “El Hijo del Ahuizote” was issued based on the new Cultural, Natural and Biocultural Heritage Law of Mexico City and adds to the declaration of historical monument that the property already had, explained the secretary of Urban Development and Housing (Seduvi), Inti Muñoz Santini.
