(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 30 – After a short summer break, the Health Tour is back. The itinerant initiative, which offers citizens the opportunity to undergo free consultations and participate in sports activities in the squares, arrives in Turin on Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1.
The Tour della Salute, now in its sixth edition, is promoted by Asc – Attività Sportive Confederate, with the unconditional contribution of Eg Stada and the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.
Next weekend, Piazza Vittorio Veneto will be transformed into a real health and sports village. From 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday, 6 clinics will be set up where it will be possible to undergo free cardiological, dermatological, nutritional, rheumatological, psychological and veterinary check-ups. There will also be a desk dedicated to sleep apnea and a check-up station that will allow citizens to undergo the measurement of various vital parameters that will be analyzed by artificial intelligence.
In addition to medical consultations, motor, recreational and social activities will be offered, curated by instructors and operators adhering to the Asc network: in particular, there will be space for yoga and Stretch & Tone activities, thanks to the collaboration with Ace Palestre. In addition, the local Red Cross staff will hold training sessions dedicated to learning the techniques for clearing airways in pediatric age.
During the two days there will also be the project ‘Health at the center’, which aims to promote sports activity by supporting a change in one’s lifestyle.
