Stopped since last July following the lawyers’ strike launched to protest against arbitrary arrests, but also for the judicial vacation which began on August 1, the hearings will resume next October before the Court for the Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses (Crief), we learned from the special prosecutor, Aly Touré.
“The hearings will resume in the first week of next October,” the head of the special prosecution service told our editorial staff.
It should be recalled that several cases involving certain former dignitaries of the Alpha Condé regime are pending before this court, namely: those of the former Prime Minister, Dr Ibrahima Kassory Fofana, the former Minister of Defense, Dr Mohamed Diané, the former President of the National Assembly, Amadou Damaro Camara and others.
