After more than fifteen years of negotiations, ocean protection could come into force in June 2025.
After more than fifteen years of long and difficult negotiations, the treaty to protect the high seas was signed by 67 countries and the European Union at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Wednesday September 21. Around 80 countries are expected to sign it by the end of the week. « That’s very good news.
