The Histadrut representatives protested in front of Ron Tomer’s house

Representatives of the Histadrut, retired members of the Histadrut and social activists came last night to protest the cost of living in front of the house of the president of the Federation of Industrialists and chairman of the presidency of employers and businesses in Israel, Dr. Ron Tomer, in the Neve Avivim neighborhood in Tel Aviv. Tomer went down to the protesters, heard their claims and had a long conversation with them.

The activists waved signs that read, among other things, “Stop being suckers – buy smart and fight the animal abuser”, “I am not a sucker, and I am not a sucker” as well as “Diplomat, Shastowitz, Kimberly-Clark – the celebration is over”.

Yesterday in the morning, hundreds of employees and members of the Histadrut, activists, people from regions and the working and studying youth arrived at dozens of shopping centers throughout the country. The activists distributed promotional materials, shirts and reusable bags to consumers for purchasing food, explained to them how to shop smart and assisted in assembling a basket of discounted and accessible products.

Among the places where the teams arrived: Tel Aviv, Jordan Valley, Haifa, Tiberias, Kiryat Shmona, Rosh Pina, Migdal Hamek, Afula, Nazareth, Givatayim, Nahariya, Rishon Lezion, Netanya, Rehovot, Kiryat Bialik, Beer Sheva, Herzliya, Lod .
