The house that Dhanush gifted to his parents has been in the news for the past few days. The actor has built a house in Poes Garden, Chennai, where many prominent people live, spending around 150 crore rupees. The Tamil media reports that this house is near the house of Rajinikanth, who is also the father of Dhanush’s partner Aishwarya, and there are reasons for that.
Aishwarya and Dhanush, who have been estranged for over a year, are reportedly part of the move to improve their relationship. Both of them had earlier announced that they were separating through social media. But sources close to the family say that no legal action has been taken.
There were earlier reports that Dhanush and Aishwarya’s families are not interested in their separation and efforts are being made to bring them together. Rajinikanth himself had directly intervened in the matter and held discussions. Tamil media reports that this is a sign that the two are coming together.
Dhanush’s film ‘Vaathi’, which is currently in theatres, is reportedly doing decent collections despite mixed responses. Malayalam actress Samyuktayan is the female lead in the film. The film is being released simultaneously in Tamil as Vaathi and in Telugu as ‘Sir’. The screenplay and direction is by Telugu director Venky Atluri. Dhanush’s films ‘Tiruchithrambalam’ and ‘Nane Varuven’ which hit the theaters last year were super hits.
