Today, Saturday, the House of Representatives announced that it will adjourn its session until next Monday.

The Parliament’s Media Department said in a statement received by the (INA): “The House of Representatives postponed the first paragraph of its agenda (electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives) until the lawsuits are resolved by the Federal Court.”
The statement added, “The House of Representatives voted on a draft law on compensation for immunodeficiency patients, while the House of Representatives postponed voting on a draft law on leasing agricultural lands.”
He pointed out, “The House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law ratifying the air transport services agreement between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Syrian Arab Republic.”
The statement continued, “The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement on mutual exemption from entry visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports between the government of Iraq and the government of South Korea, while it completed the report and discussion of the draft law ratifying the Republic of Iraq of the Arab Protocol to Prevent and Combat Trafficking in Human Beings, Especially Women and Children.” The annex and supplement to the Arab Convention to Combat Transnational Organized Crime, and the House of Representatives adjourned its session until next Monday.”
