This morning in Vileyka, the house of the editor-in-chief of Regionalnaya Gazeta Alexander Mantsevich was searched, the Belarusian Association of Journalists reports.
S Alexander Mantsevich and his wife Nina Mantsevich lost connection. Where they are now is unknown.
“Regiannaya Gazeta” is the leading non-state socio-political publication of Molodechno and the region.
In 2022, the authorities recognized the materials of the publication’s website as “extremist materials”, since then it has been published on social networks.
As UD wrote, the editorial office of the Info-Courier newspaper in Slutsk was also searched today, and employees were detained.
