Rafiq Merchant, a real estate broker in Mumbai, shared the footage of the flat on social media while looking for tenants. The rent of this luxurious flat is Rs 5 lakh per month.
An NRI is the original owner of the flat. The owner is of the opinion that after the death of Sushant, this flat will not be rented out to Bollywood stars. Any businessmen are expected as tenants. But no one has yet approached the real estate manager ready to live in the flat.

Rafiq Merchant says that the reason for not getting tenants is that people are afraid to live in this flat. Anyone who comes and shows interest after seeing the ad turns away when they know that Sushant Singh died in this flat. No one was willing to even visit the flat before. Rafiq Merchant says that many people are coming and looking at flats, but no one is ready to take them up.

High rent of flats is also a reason for not getting new residents. The owner is also not willing to compromise on the rent. The real estate manager says that even if the rent had been reduced, he would have already found a new tenant. Tenants prefer to buy any other flat of similar size in the same area. Because no one wants to get involved in controversies related to this flat.

People who come to see the flat are told that it is the place where Sushant used to live. For some it is not a problem. But their relatives and friends will dissuade them from the deal. Now the owner is of the position that he will not give flats to Bollywood stars. The owner says that no matter how big the star is, there will be no change in the decision.
In 2019, Sushant will move into this sea-facing flat. Sushant was paying Rs 4.51 lakh per month for the 3,600 square feet flat. It is a four room duplex flat. 5 lakhs new rent for this flat located in Bandra West, Mumbai.
