The pedestrianization of the sections between Ramón y Cajal and Calle Posse have already been completed, as is the case in Río de Monelos up to the viaduct that crosses Avenida de Oza.

Los humanization works of the second phase of Mayor Marchesi they have come to an end. This week the works between the streets were concluded Ramón y Cajal and Posse streetas it happens with the street River of Monelos to the viaduct that crosses the Oza avenue. The action, as explained by the City Council, made it possible to make space for pens and create landscaped areas.
The humanization of this area had a budget of 676,734 euros and was co-financed with Next Generation funds. The actions give continuity to the first phase of Alcalde Marchesi, which was completed last year. In both cases, a single platform was installed, leaving the first section between Cuatro Caminos and Ramón y Cajal as a pedestrian street, and gaining space for pedestrians in the second, up to Posse street; although the traffic of vehicles is allowed here.

In this way, Alcalde Marchesi street is left with one lane of road, with a loading and unloading area on the right bank and landscaped sidewalks on both sides, with renovated public furniture. In the access from Ramón y Cajal, the road was raised to prevent excessive speeding of vehicles at the entrance to this section. On the other hand, the new pedestrian crossing between the two sections of Alcande Marchesi gives continuity to this street.
In Río de Monelos, a single platform was also installed, with an area for mixed circulation and spaces for the exclusive use of pedestrians. New planters and street furniture were also installed.
