Today, ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming visit to Hungary, the local Magyar Nemzet newspaper published an article by him titled “Let’s work together to further deepen our relations,” Radio China reported.
In it, Xi Jinping points out that although China and Hungary are thousands of kilometers apart, the friendship between the two peoples has a long history. In the 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Hungary have remained good friends and partners whose relations are built on win-win cooperation and mutual understanding. The two countries adhere to the principles of mutual respect, justice and mutual benefit, and build their ties on the independent and friendly exchanges between sovereign states under the conditions of the changing international environment. Thanks to this, China and Hungary maintain a high level of mutual political trust, and their relations are at their best.
“China and Hungary are currently at an important stage of their development. I hope that through this visit, we can continue our traditional friendship, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and give impetus to our comprehensive strategic partnership,” the Chinese leader also wrote.
