Warming is rushing to the European part of Russia. The temperature in Moscow and St. Petersburg next week will be 5-6 degrees above the norm. This was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

He recalled that in recent days in the center of the country the most severe frosts since the beginning of autumn were noted. “Usually, such a transition is associated with the arrival of winter, but for now it is postponed, a noticeable warming is expected,” he said.

According to Vilfand, the temperature in St. Petersburg will begin to rise today. And by Tuesday the air in the northern capital will warm up to +7…+9. In Moscow on Monday +2…+4, and by the middle of the working week +5…+7. At the same time, up to nine degrees of heat is predicted for the region.
