The Ibex 35 fell 0.12% at the end of Monday. The Madrid Stock Exchange closes with its selective losing 10.9 points, and standing at 9,049.3 units.

The Spanish Stock Market thus maintains 9,000 points, after learning that general inflation in the interannual rate rose in Spain by one tenth in January, up to 5.8%, while core inflation rose half a point, up to 7.5%, the highest figure in 37 years.

In a week marked by the meetings of the central banks, the session opened this Monday with losses that put 9,000 in danger, although the setbacks moderated throughout the day and even briefly touched the gains after the volatile opening of Wall Street .

As regards the heavyweights of the Ibex 35, only Repsol (-0.88%) and Iberdrola (-0.14%) closed in red, and Banco Santander (+0.74%) rose; Telephone (+0.66%); Inditex (+0.56%), and BBVA (+0.08%).
