From 3 p.m. football teams competed in the following tournaments: Rokiškios FK against Zarasu FK “Liepsna”, Rokiškis “Edmos šaika” against FK “Utena”, Kupiškis FC “Narjanta” against FK “Liepsna”, “Atomas” against FK “Utena”, Rokiškis FK against FC “Narjanta” and “Edmos shaika” with “Atom”. The strongest teams from Zarasai, Panevėžys, Kupiškis and Utena reached the semi-finals. The winners are “Atomas” of Panevėžys, the second place was won by “Narjanta” of Kupiškis, the third place was won by FK “Utena”.
There was no shortage of entertainment for children at the event – there was a children’s football tournament and “bubble football”, where the little ones could test their skills in giant inflated bubbles. According to the organizer of the event, Erik Gaigal, being in the bubble itself requires physical strength, so five minutes inside the bubble are longer.
“Due to the rain, it is more difficult to carry out some activities, so several games had to be postponed. It’s nice for the crowd, but it can be seen that the holiday season also affects the football players. Those with whom we have the closest ties have arrived. Next year, our club will be 20 years old, so we are planning a different format event, but the idea is to gather a community that unites not only athletes, but also families”, said E. Gaigalas, head of the Rokiškis football club.
The coach of Kupiškis “Narjanta” Aidas Navickas shared his impressions. According to him, a great location by the lake was chosen for the event, which helped to create a positive mood.
The night of football excitement was crowned by the performance of the electronic group “Alchemikai”.
