They could only see the five stars with the naked eye, which is what the ancient fortune-tellers called the convergence of the five stars. Said it was a good thing, perhaps to please the emperor.
In fact, if the world changes, and the ignorant ruler goes down and the bright ruler goes up, that would be really good for China. However, some scholars in history have also explained that the planetary beads are the ominous signs of military disasters. This saying comes from the book “Jingzhai Ancient and Modern”. The original text is “The gathering of five stars is not auspicious, it is an image of soldiers… If the five stars gather less, the soldiers will be less, and if the five stars gather more, the soldiers will be more.”
