The Asunción bridge is one of the most in Spain, because during the period with many people on vacation, the effect of two weeks is added to the holiday – some start their days while others finish them – and of the employers festival in many cities in Spain.

To facilitate traffic on the main roads leading to the resorts, additional return roads will be installed during peak hours and alternative routes will be set up. In addition, road services will be limited and recreational activities will be limited.
The report indicates that the most difficult hours will be from early Wednesday afternoon (between 4 and 12 pm), during Wednesday morning (between 9 and 2 pm), during Friday afternoon (from 4 pm, for those who have working and entering the cities during the holidays), and on Saturday they noted “high intensities spread to the coastal areas for those starting their holidays”.
On Sunday itself, they estimate that “conflict hours” will be, during the morning, in the roads that connect the coastal cities with the coast, while from 6 to 11 pm the return to the cities will take place and, therefore, the biggest traffic jams on the bridge, “which can last until late at night.”
According to data from the DGT, 53.6% of those killed on the road in 2023 have tested positive for alcohol, drugs or psychotropic drugs – either separately or in combination -, a number that will only increase: in 2022 is 52.8%.
Therefore, from the interior they take the opportunity to remember that the limit of exhaled air is 0.25 mg of blood alcohol per liter issued to everyone, while novice and professional drivers may not exceed 0.15 mg.
