Ileana Márquez became Miss Venezuela 2023 and her victory has brought hundreds of reactions on social networks, because she is the first mother to win this beauty pageant.

After winning the crown of her country’s contest, the model has also been compared to Sheynnis Palacios, the Miss Universe who was elected a few days ago in El Salvador.
Some people had expressed concern because the Venezuelan has a similar physique to the current queen and they consider that this could harm her, since Miss Universe would not bet on similar features in consecutive years.
Jessica Alaimo, former beauty queen, was the one who gave her opinion about this days before Ileana Márquez was crowned.
“If only mothers were allowed at Miss International, I wouldn’t have to suffer today thinking about this. Ileana; dye your hair, let it grow, put on contact lenses, change your catwalk and don’t wear dresses similar to Sheynnis,” wrote the young woman, who participated in Miss Venezuela 2022 with the band from the state of Aragua.

This has not been the only reaction, since other messages have been read such as: “She also looks a lot like me, but the idea of changing her so much does not seem to me, if she wins, she should keep her look, which is what she looks very good with.” well and that’s about the fight.
