In the weekly “diary” of the supplement, arriving via email on Friday 26 January, an excerpt from “Day”, published in La nave di Teseo. Last days to subscribe to the App at the special price of 19.99 euros

It’s called “domicide”, the “murder of the house” (in Latin, domus). The opening in the new issue of «la Lettura», #635 on Saturday 27 January in the App and Sunday 28 on newsstands, is dedicated to this term which has become, for many, tragic current events. Some of the themes addressed in the issue, linked to the destruction but also to the reconstruction of the house, are anticipated by a text by Marco Del Corona in the newsletter of the supplement arriving via email on Friday 26 January.

The «la Lettura» newsletter arrives every Friday via email to those who sign up here and to subscribers to the insert’s App. It also offers readers literary previews: Friday the 26th, the incipit of Day, a novel that marks the return of Pulitzer Michael Cunningham. Out January 30th from The Ship of Theseus, the book follows three days in the life of an American family, before, during and after the pandemic.
