The Minister of Heritage, Rabbi Amichai Eliyahu of the Otzma Yehudit party, submitted a short time ago (Friday) to the Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, his letter of resignation from the Knesset. This is within the framework of Norwegian law.

Rabbi Eliyahu thanked Chairman Ohana for welcoming him at this time, close to the beginning of Shabbat, and said: “I am submitting my letter of resignation, so that I can focus on promoting the heritage and the connection to the roots of our people in the Land of Israel.” Eliyahu also added: “I congratulate you and wish you success in your new position “.

MK Ohana warmly acknowledged the congratulations, accepted the letter of resignation, and wished Minister Eliyahu much success in his new position.
