During the first semester of 2024, the Incorpora system of the «la Caixa» Foundation is facilitated more than 600 recruits of people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion in Girona, thanks to the cooperation of more than 300 houses, of which 127 have joined for the first time, and have helped to promote almost 30 new funds. “This data describes the intensive observation work carried out by the engineers of the program to increase the number of companies identified in the program. It adds the opportunity to show commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunities and create more and more integrated work areas”, they pointed out in a statement.
Of total 633 insertions to successful projects, 324 are women, and 309, men. In addition, 126 have come from people with some kind of disability, and 507 from people who are at risk or in a situation of discrimination.
