The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) reports that there has been no rebound in Covid-19 cases in the last six weeks. The virus is in the low-speed contagion phase.
The integrated epidemiological surveillance system for Covid-19 and other respiratory viruses has registered around 500 cases on a sustained basis in recent weeks with no rebound in the number of hospitalizations and mortality.
For this monitoring, the MSP works with the national epidemiological surveillance network, which is made up of the health units of the public and complementary network of all levels of care and their laboratories.
This State portfolio ratifies the commitment to the prevention and effective control of diseases, while urging the application of booster doses against COVID-19.
