The annual international tourism exhibition – 2023 IMTM – International Mediterranean Tourism Market, opened yesterday for the 29th time at Expo Tel Aviv. This year a record number of over 750 exhibitors, about 158 ​​booths, over 40 countries and dozens of senior officials and ambassadors from around the world came to the exhibition. Among the delegations taking part in the exhibition this year: Morocco, Philippines, Azerbaijan, Japan, Georgia, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Italy and more.

Minister of Tourism Haim Katz at the opening ceremony of the tourism exhibition: “Tourism, contrary to the Treasury’s position, is an economic catalyst and not a burden. The Israeli government needs to decide whether it wants tourism in Israel or not. I will do my best to increase the budget and prevent all unnecessary and unwise cuts.”

The international tourism fair IMTM 2023 – International Mediterranean Tourism Market, was held in Israel for the 29th time. Every year there is a broad demand from the countries of the world that wish to attract the Israeli tourist to the unique experiences they can provide for him, to take part in the tourism exhibition. This year, more than 40 countries are participating, including Iceland, Dubai, Montenegro and Kyrgyzstan, who will exhibit for the first time at the exhibition. The tourism ministry of Iceland presented as part of the conferences held during the exhibition, and booths were also set up for the tourism ministries from Montenegro and Kyrgyzstan and for the tourism company from Dubai.

The exhibition is a place for meetings and interpersonal connections, lectures and professional conferences.
