The personal investment company Rix Capital, the founders of the game developer Playrix, brothers Dmitry and Igor Bukhmanov, is moving to its first permanent office in the London area of St. James, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
Recently, the investment company has been looking for a new head and senior investment and legal staff. Established in 2021, Rix Capital manages approximately $4 billion and is among the world’s largest family offices, according to the agency.
Playrix is developing games, including the popular Township and Gardenscapes. The brothers’ combined net worth is estimated at $11 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
According to the Forbes rating, the Bukhmans are among the top three billionaires from Russia, whose fortunes have declined the most – minus $ 1.1 billion each, their fortune is estimated at $ 7 billion each. Forbes drew attention to the general decline in interest in game developers.
The game developer Playrix was founded by the brothers in 2004 in Vologda. In 2013, the company’s headquarters were moved to Ireland. In October 2022, the gaming company announced the termination of commercial activities in Russia and Belarus.
