The Iraqi Equestrian Federation holds a refresher tournament for jumping over hurdles

/ On Saturday, the Iraqi Equestrian Federation held a refresher tournament for jumping over hurdles for national team riders for the junior, youth and advanced categories and for both genders.

The championship, which concluded its competitions this evening, at the Federation’s headquarters track located in the city of Jadriyah in the capital, Baghdad, witnessed jumping events over hurdles at heights of 80, 110 and 120 centimetres, in addition to jumping over the power barrier at a height of 160 centimetres.

The conclusion of the 80 cm category competitions resulted in Hussein Louay winning first, Youssef Muften second, and Farah Muhammad third, while the 110 cm category competitions ended with Ali Muhammad Ghani first, Mina Maher second, and Ammar Amer third.

In the 120 cm category competitions, Muhammad Iyad came first, and Mustafa Muften came second, and finally, at the end of the 160 cm power barrier category competitions, Mustafa Muftin came in first place and Muhammad Iyad second.
